Open from about late April to November; a 16 km trek from Gaurikund, or by helicopter. Online yatra registration is mandatory.

Your day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1
    Arrive in Kedarnath

    Private pickup from Dehradun (Jolly Grant) airport and a hotel close to the temple, chosen by your concierge. Evening aarti and a gentle walk around the temple town.

  2. Day 2
    Darshan

    Helicopter, pony or a guided trek arranged in advance, then darshan at Kedarnath, with special darshan or puja tickets booked where the temple offers them. Afternoon visit to Bhairavnath temple and Gaurikund.

  3. Day 3
    Home

    A second darshan if you wish, prasad and a relaxed transfer for your journey home.

Temple timings and dress rules change with festivals; your concierge checks them for your dates.
